Korkow Rodeos invites their special rodeo committee members and sponsors to the Anchor K Ranch in Pierre during South
Dakota's world-famous pheasant hunting season. Opening weekend is usually the third weekend of October and Korkows
generally hunt daily during the first 2 weeks of the season.
Old-fashioned hospitality is what the committees
can find during their hunting trip, along with their daily limit of 3 pheasants per day per license. It is not uncommon
for the Korkow family to feed prime rib dinner in their combination garage/museum/bar to 50-60 people on a nightly basis
during their hunts -- with Don Korkow as "head chef"!
